Edinburgh’s festival season is almost over (where did the time go?!) but don’t worry… we’ve still got the Edinburgh Mela to look forward to this weekend!

It’s a two-day event which was founded in 1995 to showcase the talents of Edinburgh’s ethnic communities. It attracts over 20,000 people each year and features an eclectic mix of theatre, dance and art. Look out for the Bollywood Love Story which has also been featured in the Edinburgh Military Tattoo this year.

There will also be a Global Food Village and a Mela Market where you can pick up a bargain and try some tasty dishes from around the world from India to Japan!

The Mela will run from Saturday 29th – Sunday 30th August from noon – 9pm at Leith Links. You can get tickets and access the full programme here!
