Uncover some of Edinburgh’s best kept secrets with Hidden Door from 22nd – 30th May.
It’s an annual event which celebrates creativity in Edinburgh by showcasing the work of local artists and performers. The festival usually takes place in a derelict or unknown place in Edinburgh, with last year’s celebrations taking place in the then-disused Market St. Vaults. This year, the event will be held in an abandoned street lighting depot on Kings Stables Road, near the Grassmarket.
The festival will feature art, film, theatre and live music, with notable acts including Errors, Stealing Sheep, Bombskare, Black Diamond Express, Lonelady, Supermoon, Victorian Trout Conspiracy, Loki and many more. This year, Hidden Door is also collaborating with Bongo Club, also near the Grassmarket, which will host an alternative line-up of bands and an after party until 3am on Sunday 24th Monday 25th and Wednesday 27th.
